Amazing People were truely delighted to be the winner of the 'working with adults category' at the award ceremony in November 2007. This was for the Gold Career Programme.

Winning the award from Europe's largest association of career rpofessionals is a real honour, especially when being up against much larger companies.

Local Company wins Prestigious National Career Award

Amazing People, a Tewkesbury career coaching company has won a prestigious national award at the annual conference of the Institute of Career Guidance (ICG) held in Solihull on Friday 9th November.  Denise Taylor of Amazing People received the award for her Gold Career Programme which was developed to offer a comprehensive career exploration and guidance service for adults. Amazing People were one of eight award winners at the ceremony held to celebrate excellence and achievement within career guidance across the UK.

Denise has been working as a career psychologist for over 20 years and 4 years ago developed this programme to ensure graduates and career changers were able to develop an in-depth understanding of who they are, using assessments, discussions and creative exercises and then guided to develop a short list of jobs to explore which would utilise abilities, skills, interests, values, personality, passions and longer term goals.  She then guides them to find out about their shortlisted job, thus making them a credible candidate. "Over these 4 years the programme has been fine tuned resulting in a service which gets excellent client feedback and is now recognised by my peers".

"I was thrilled to get this award" said Denise Taylor, "It's fantastic to get recognition for the work I do with people who have felt lost and confused. It's a great feeling to help someone find a job they love as much as I love mine."

The judging panel said "This is a highly developed programme - over 4 years to meet a need for cost effective holistic guidance for adults."

Amazing People is based near Tewkesbury with clients from all over the country with some current clients from Sweden, Germany, France and Portugal.  They choose Denise because of the depth and breadth of her knowledge and her caring yet dynamic approach. 

Denise is a full member of the Association for Coaching and entitled to use the initials MAC

Denise is Registered as an Advanced Practitioner with the Institute of Careers Guidance
