Do you want to be guided to make career decisions that take account of your ability, personality and interests?
You have come to the right place!
Assessments will help you to understand more about yourself – your abilities, personality, interests and more and this can be an effective means of making a career choice and increasing career satisfaction.
No assessment will tell you exactly what you should do – you make the decisions, but assessment can provide effective information to inform your decision making. This can then be considered alongside your own ideas, skills and background, values, goals and more.
Assessments can also help preparation for a forthcoming assessment centre or testing session.
There are many different assessments out there, and you can access free ones (usually a "rip off" version which break copyright laws) but free ones will never give you a proper interpretation.
We use the most effective assessments available - the Highlands Ability Battery, Myers Briggs Type Indicator ® Assessment, Strong Interest Inventory, Firo B and TKI. We also have other assessments, including those used in recruitment - the 16PF5, Saville Consulting Wave, Watson Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal and a range of ability tests.
Highlands Ability Battery
Find out your natural abilities so you can choose a job in line with what you are naturally good at, rather than struggling with something that doesn't come easy. Once you get a job in tune with your natural abilities, it's like cruising up a 4 lane motorway, rather than struggling through a boggy lane.
Individuals use this as the foundation of their career programme and organisations use this to develop their staff.

The Saville Consulting Wave
The Saville Consulting Wave is a personality questionnaire which is quickly becoming the assessment of choice in recruitment and personal development.
As a chartered psychologist I'm qualified to use all of the reputable assessments and this is the one I now recommend to my business clients and it is great for an in-depth personal assessment, particularly to help you understand yourself before an in-depth interview.
It was developed by Professor Peter Saville who was the originator of SHL’s OPQ ®. The assessment can assess talent and motive and the results can be compared to organisational competences.
The self report assessment takes approximately 35 minutes to complete. You then receive an in-depth discussion alongside a Professional Styles Report. There
is an option for two additional reports – Types Report and Entrepreneurial Potential Report..

Coaching to build confidence over psychometric tests
Do you need some specific coaching to help in your applications? You can take tests under test conditions and receive feedback to help you to improve.
"Prior to seeking your help I was struggling with psychometric tests, but your logical approach and techniques enhanced my confidence which was lacking before I sought your help. You have an excellent approach which made me feel relaxed and at the same time provided me with excellent advice. You have a wonderful telephone manner and communicate extremely concisely which has helped me with the interpretation aspects of the tests. I really felt you empathised with my problems but you managed to teach me new techniques which I know will change my future approach. I now believe I have the confidence and expertise to tackle these tests for which I thank you so much. You are a star!" Alan (University Student, Business Management)
