Career satisfaction through achievement of tasks
“Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It’s not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it’s when you’ve had everything to do, and you’ve done it.”
Margaret Thatcher Former British Prime Minister
I came across this quote today and think it is benefical for everyone interested in our careers to reflect on this. Yes, at times we may want to have a “chill out” day but do we gain as much satisfaction through this as when we have set out with a list of tasks to achieve and have completed them?
Question: How satisfied have you been when you’ve had a productive day - let me know by commenting below.
