Internet Detective – using online research effectively to help in your career development

Slightly off topic today, but via the many emails I get was one which leads on to a web site which is simply brilliant if you are using the internet for academic research. This may be for you if you undertake part time study or perhaps for a relative or friend. When I work with students to help them to develop study skills many have never been shown how to research effectively and how to make good use of on line study sources.

This takes you to the Internet Detective and is an online tutorial to help people to develop internet skills to help with study and research. It takes an hour to complete and should be really useful, I’ll be recommending it to my student clients.

Do have a look and let me know what you think.
