Getting straight - tidy office, tidy mind

I’m feeling really virtuous, yesterday was such a wet and miserable day, I didn’t want to even go to the gym so decided to make it a tidy up day. All my piles of things to do are in neat piles, and prioritised, so I can deal with them over the next few weeks.

More importantly I tided out the store cupboard and found a box of envelopes I didn’t know I had and made the whole office look neat and tidy. I also went through my Computer Desk top and filed everything in the relevant folder.

I tend to leave things n the desk top as I’m working on them and eventually my desk top gets so cluttered that I move it into the “To Do” folder which is a bit like a junk room.

I need more time to clear that but for now the computer is looking neat and tidy and everything is backed up onto a new external hard drive. I’d nipped to Maplin bought a 250mb external drive so if the worse every happens I know I can still access all my materials. Just must remember to back this up every few days!
