When you don’t think you have achieved anything ….

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

I’m having one of those mornings when I haven’t completed anything on my to do list – so all my Thursday tasks are still waiting to be done.

Lots of people get this sort of feeling, you must know people, and maybe you even say it yourself - “I’ve got nothing done today!” but actually when you step back you will find that there are lots of things that you have done.

For example you may have sorted out a computer problem, listened to a colleague who was upset, completed an urgent research task for your boss, dealt with an irate customer etc.

So I might think I’ve done nothing, but I’ve been to the gym, cleared most of my emails, sorted out my sons computer problem, spoke to a client and contributed to an article for a journalist, so in fact, not a bad morning.

Think I deserve a cup of tea!
