Note for Job Hunters -Are you clear why you want that job?
I’ve been interviewing recently and have noticed that a number of candidates are unable to explain why they want the job.
Of the ones that can offer an explanation it is more around what they will gain out of the job rather than what they can give to the company.
The best candidates could discuss how they could meet the companies needs. They had obviously done research into the company and could give examples of how they could benefit the company and some would be able to outline some of the ways they could solve the companies problems.
So next time you go for a job, make sure you are clear about what you can do for the company.
