I’ve had my Nintendo DS Lite for a week now and have been doing my regular exercises each day.

Brain Training

I’ve realised that when I do my brain age test my age will vary depending on the 3 tests I have to do. Yesterday my brain age was 28 but the day before I was at 57. The difference is that at 28 I didn’t have to memorise a list of words but I did when I came out as higher than my age.

My Word Coach

The first time I did this I measured at 60 which is psychologist level (which I am), I’m increasing at 1 percentage point at a time and have passed through lawyer and journalist. This is partly measuring vocabulary but also speed, and I am quick at making a decision in many of the tests. The hardest one for me is the word blocks where you need to quickly spot words.

Sight Training

I bought this yesterday so have only had one go, it’s helpful to get your eyes moving quickly and there is a nice relaxation exercise at the end, including relaxing your eyes.
