Nintedo DS lite - update 3

DS LiteI’ve been writing about my experience of using the Nintendo DS Lite.

I’m now a bit frustrated - I had been steadily progressing using "My Word Coach" from the 60% level up to 81% on Tuesday evening.

Imagine my disappointment on Wednesday morning to switch the machine to see a message - data corrupted, deleting file. I’d done nothing from one day to the next, I’d left the memory card in the machine over night.

I’m frustrated as the machine is not taking account of how quick I can learn, based on the initial assessment I’m still at the60% level, but I am so much quicker at the exercises.

There is one - word shuffle, where you have to quickly choose between options. I was up to hard mode and had to choose the right word for on of 6 descriptions, I’m now back to a simple mode and even I am greatly exceeding the time target 0f 120 seconds to 36,34,32,30 it still hasn’t moved me up - so I’ve got to persevere through simple tests. If it gets corrupted again I’ll give up!

I’ve been doing well, and my speed is really increasing.

Now can do triangle maths in 43 seconds, best to start trying this on the hard option.

Syllable count - I did it yesterday in 48 seconds, and got everyone right - this counts as rocket speed!

I also got everything right on head count, but I did guess the last one - but maybe my subconscoius knew the answer!
