Career Coaching – helping you find career satisfaction

Work with a Career Psychologist – Denise Taylor

Choose careers coaching to find out what you want to do. It’s effective, and you get results quickly. This isn’t careers coaching with someone who has done a one day course or basing their support on personal experience, but effective careers coaching and careers counselling with a chartered psychologist and registered career guidance practitioner who has specialised in this area for over twenty years, and has worked effectively one to one with 1000+ clients.

Career Coaching – making career choices

Think about when you last chose a holiday, car or bought a new computer. You probably spent a lot of time and effort gathering information, talking to experts and friends, considering options and making sure you made the right choice.

However, when people choose a career, whether it be their first job or a career change they can restrict their choice to what they think they can do based on looking at adverts without considering whether this is the job that matches their abilities, will use their skills, fits well with their values and make them want to get up in a morning with a smile rather than a groan.

If you want to get it right, work with a specialist career coach who will help you to understand who you are to enable you to discover a career to bring you personal satisfaction. There are different approaches we can take, you may want to follow a programme or we could take our first session to develop an approach to best meet your needs.

The Career Discovery phase has a focus on who you are, we look to the past, where you have been and what you have done, understanding your strengths – both your skills (motivated and burnout skills) and more important your actual abilities, plus your personality, values, long term goals and more.

Career Management focuses on managing your career: getting promoted, getting on track and managing different situations.
