I am a strong advocate for personal branding, we need to know who we are and how we differentiate ourselves from others. That’s why I trained to be a personal branding strategist with REACH.

There’s some great online training that’s free and I highly recommend you to get involved. Although aimed at students, it can be useful for everyone.

Personal Brand Experience Activities

MONDAY, February 6th: Tell your story–Day One will help students define their particular strengths and determine what they want to be known for.

TUESDAY, February 7th: Value your passions–On Day Two, students may document and identify their passions before they can make important decisions about their future – whether it is choosing a major, selecting electives to help them stand out from the crowd, or identifying other ways to jump-start their career.

WEDNESDAY, February 8th: Share your skills–Day Three will allow students to use what they have learned about their skills, values, and passions to identify the right volunteer opportunities to give back.

THURSDAY, February 9th: Stand out online–Day Four guides students as they analyze their online reputation and design a plan to align that with their real-world brand.

FRIDAY, February 10th: Make your brand plan-Grow your own way–On Day Five, students write their branded bio and create their brand plan.
