Each year I like to review the year gone and make plans for what I want to do for the year to come.

Most people don’t do this, but it is a very helpful discipline to get into. I started back in 2010 and find it helpful to see just how much I have achieved, especially how I have  overcome obstacles rather than to concentrate on all the things yet to do. Perhaps you will find it helpful to do similar?
This post is a follow on to one from yesterday – a new year, a time to look back and look forwards

Here’s an approach to take. Consider different areas of your life and make a note of what you achieved, then from this plan for what you want to do this year. So, looking at work, fitness, relationships etc ask yourself:

My Career

  • What I have achieved?
  • What I’m most proud of
  • What obstacles have I overcome?
  •  My plans for 2019 with success criteria – how will I be able to measure my success?

My Health and Fitness

  • What I have achieved?
  • What I’m most proud of
  • What obstacles have I overcome?
  •  My plans for 2019 with success criteria – how will I be able to measure my success?

My Relationships

  • What I have achieved?
  • What I’m most proud of
  • What obstacles have I overcome?
  •  My plans for 2019 with success criteria – how will I be able to measure my success?

 My Wider life goals

  • What I have achieved?
  • What I’m most proud of
  • What obstacles have I overcome?
  •  My plans for 2019 with success criteria – how will I be able to measure my success?

 My Financial goals

  • What I have achieved?
  • What I’m most proud of
  • What obstacles have I overcome?
  •  My plans for 2019 with success criteria – how will I be able to measure my success?

All the very best for 2019, but the year isn’t over yet!
